Genetic Counselling Consultations

• The cost for this service is $290 with a Medicare rebate of $151.90.
• Simple consultations that take 20-30 minutes without need for complex clinical assessment.

Complex Clinical Assessments (Clinical Genetics)

• The cost for this service is $520 with a Medicare rebate of $265.60.
• Complex consultations that take 45-60 minutes.

Balance Payment is requested on the same day of appointment. Partners are bulk-billed. Please ensure their name is included on the referral so this is possible.

Cancellation policy:

• To help us provide timely care to all patients, we require at least 24 hours notice for any appointment cancellation or rescheduling.
• Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed without notice (no-show), may incur a late cancellation or non-attendance fee.
• Please note that longer appointment times are reserved specifically for individual patients. Late cancellations and missed appointments can prevent other patients from accessing care when needed.
• We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain appointment availability for all patients.
